Selecting a URL

A sites URL is important because of the branding that will occur. Everytime your web address appears you are branding it.  Selecting a name that is easy to remember is very important, shorter the URL the better.

A URL should be descriptive as well.

Effective URLs:
www.fcalax.com
www.atlantafca.org
www.austinfca.org

Less Effective URLs:
www.lacrosse.com
www.greateratlantafellowshipofchristianathletes.com
www.austintexasfcasports.org

Spend time thinking about possible URLs. Come up with a couple of options in-case the first option is not available. If you previously had a web site and still have the URL purchased, Online Ministry can work with you to transfer the domain to the National Office.
