Add a Link to My Text/Article

  1. Login.
  2. Open text or article you are inserting link into.
  3. Highlight the text that needs made into a link.
  4. Click Insert Link Button .
  5. Enter the URL in the appropriate box. It is possible (and is a good practice) for the link to open up in a new window, to do this use the “Target Window” area and click the drop down box and select “_blank.”



    URL - The site, page or object you are linking.
    Target Window - _blank is about the only selection you will need to pick if you pick any.
    Anchor - Advanced feature.



  6. Click “Insert Link.”

It is good practice to make a link open a new window if it is outside of the site.
