Sometimes it will be appropriate to link to an object instead of displaying it on the page. The link needs placed inside of an article or text object.
  1. Login.
  2. Open the text or article you want to insert a link.
  3. Click in the text or article where to add the link.
  4. Click the "Insert Object" button .
  5. A window should pop open. Browse the “Content Object” drop down menu to find the type of file and eventually the file that is linked.

  6. Check the box and then click the “Insert Object Link” button.
  7. If you are inserting a PDF and would like to link directly to the PDF and NOT have it open in a new window...
    1. Follow the instructions above.
    2. Right click on the link for the PDF and select "Copy shortcut"
    3. Then, go back to your Text item and click "Edit this Text"
    4. Highlight the text that you'd like to make the link, you can highlight the existing link
    5. Then click the "Create or Modify Link" button
    6. A new window should pop up.
    7. In the URL box, erase everything, right click in the box and select "Paste"
    8. You can leave everything else alone and click "Insert Link"
