A Text Area is a place where users can type multiple lines of text. For example, if you wanted someone to describe their experience at an event, you would use a Text Area. Keep in mind, you'll want to give people, plenty of room. Adjust the numbers in the example below to change the width and height of the text area.

  1. Click "Text Area" in the left menu of the Form builder

  2. Fill-out the specifics:

Label - What the user see's on your website, ex) Gender
Name - What you see when editing the form.
WARNING!- The Name field cannot have any spaces in it or any symbols like -,./.
So if you were typing "How Has FCA Impacted Your Life?" you would have to type "HowHasFCAImpactedYourLife" in the "Name" field like the example below.
Value - text in this field will be displayed before the user begins to type.
Rows - the size of the text area in number of character rows horizontally (HEIGHT)
    Cols -
the size of the text area in number of character rows vertically (WIDTH)

  3. Click the blue "Update" button and the form builder will reload with the changes you entered.
