The most challenging areas on the web for staff are photos and graphics.

Online Ministry offers free photo software if you do not have software to crop and save photos for the web.

Images are made up of pixels (or dots). It is important to make sure before uploading pictures to webFCA that they meet all of the following criteria.

Images are the desired size for the web (prior to upload). DO NOT use the image width and height with in webFCA to change photos.
You cannot “size” your photos when you upload them. Changing the number in the boxes below forces your browser to size the photos whenever anyone visits your site. This will slow your site down tremendously as well as making the photos “fuzzy” and unclear. You must change the resolution and image size BEFORE uploading any images to your website.

  1. Login.
  2. Click on “Organize Content” --> “Image” --> “Create New.”

  3. A window should open. Press the “Browse” button.

  4. Find the photo and click the “Open” button. The window should close then click the “Upload” button.

  5. Name the file and click “Save and Close” button.
