A redirect is something that makes a complicated link into something more memorable and shorter.  Imagine a page for a local high school huddle.

http://www.mylocalfca.com/highschool/huddles/WashingtonHighSchool.lsp

That link is not going to be something kids can easily spread the word about. What if it was much shorter.

http://www.mylocalfca.com/whs/

This is very easy to do and can be done for all important pages. Do not to go overboard and have a short redirect for every page on the site. Online Ministry encourages redirecting for the pages and sections you promote and use the most.
  1. Login.
  2. Go to the page that is being redirected.
  3. Click “Advanced Page Features” and then “Add/Remove Redirects.”

  4. A window should open up. Type the new redirect in the box. It has to have the same “http://www.yourlocalfca.org/” in the beginning. Basically.

    http://www.yourlocalfca.org/Camps/Applications/Huddleleader.lsp

    With a redirect could become...
