Make a Link Open In A New Window

Sometimes, you'll want to create a link on your webFCA website that links to another website or web address and appears in your left navigation.

If you send someone outside of your website, you should open the link in a new window. That way, people can still stay at your website.

  1. Click the red "Options" link next to your "Home" link, then select Add>Link, the "Edit Link" Menu will open
  2. Type in the name of your link as you would like it to appear on your website in the "Link Label" textbox
  3. Type the website address in the "URL" textbox
  4. Select _blank from the "URL Target:" drop down menu
  5. Click "Submit Changes"
  6. Your new link should open in a new window when clicked.
