Text Box

  1. Click "Text Box" in the left menu of the Form builder



  2. Fill-out the specifics:

    Label - What the user see's on your website, ex) Name
    Name - What you see when editing the form.
    WARNING!- The Name field cannot have any spaces in it or any symbols like -,./. So if you were typing "First Name" you would have to type "FirstName" in the "Name" field like the example below.
    Value - Only enter a value if you want the Text Box to have default text. Not usually needed.
    Size - Determines the width of the Text Box. Leave empty by default.
    Maxlength - the maximum number of characters that will be collected. In this example, the user's name must be 50 letters or less.
    Required - check this box if you want a visitor to be required to fill out the Text Box
    Validation - leave this option set to (none)

  3. Click the blue "Update" button and the form builder will reload with the changes you entered.
