Page
A page is a single, stand-alone webpage. It cannot hold other pages, like a section.
Reporting Period
The start date and end date for a webFCA site's statistics. Change these dates to customize the data you view.
Section
A section has a homepage and can house pages inside of it. If your website is a file cabinet, a section is a file folder.
Syndicated Content
Pieces of content including Text, Images, Multimedia and Articles that are published and updated from the National Office. Whenever this content is changed, that change takes place on every webFCA site where the content is placed. Staff do nothing but place a piece of content on their website and it's updated automatically on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
Total Visitors
The number of unique visitors that visit a website. A visitor = 1 single computer.
Total Visits
The total number of times your website is visited. The same visitor can visit multiple times
Total-Page-Views
The number of pages viewed on a website during a particular time. You'll want higher page views than Total Visitors as this will indicate people visit a website and look at more than one page per visit.
Typography
Study of type. Size, style, weight and positioning.
URL
(Uniform Resource Locator)
The address of a web site.
Examples include http://www.fca.org, http://www.webfca.com, http://www.google.com.
